One of my favorite positions was office manager of a start-up company. We began with a three-person team, (two partners and me) within three years; we expanded to a sixteen-member team. In this position I took the initiative to develop and implement the procedures which I used to manage the functions of bookkeeper/office manager. In addition to my accounting duties, I was also responsible for hiring, training, evaluating, and coaching new employees.
